Thambo September, the assistant coach of South African Premier League Soccer (PSL) side Chippa United has suggested that Super Eagles first-choice goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali may remain at the club after much speculation about his future.

The coach who gave the hint in a recent chat with the South African media the club wants Nwabali to go to the next level and achieve bigger things but he remains with the club at the moment.

He disclosed that Nwabali has been a true professional as he is working and training well with his teammates and if a move to another club does not suffice, the player is happy to remain at the club.

Thambo also stated that he is not aware of any offer for Nwabali from other clubs but he wants the best for the player because he has done well.

“We all want Stanley to go to the next level, forward to the bigger things. That’s why he plays so well so that he can get a bigger move. From the management, the chairman, and us as coaches and players, we want that to happen, but at the moment, he’s here with us, and he’s a professional,” September told FARPost.

“He’s working for that moment, and when that moment happens. He’s a professional and is training well, and if that doesn’t happen, he’s looking forward to playing in the PSL for Chippa United, but me as a coach I don’t know if there’s anything on the table.

” I’m not going to be like everyone else; that’s gonna be like there’s something here and there. On my side, I don’t know anything that’s on the table, but all I want is good things for him, I want the best for Stanley because he deserves it, he has done well.” He added.
