Nigerian striker Victor Boniface has travelled from Germany to Italy to take a medical examination before completing a transfer to AC Milan, a Serie A powerhouse, in a blockbuster move.
After the medicals are over, the 23-year-old Super Eagles forward, who made an impression with Bayer Leverkusen in Germany, is anticipated to sign a long-term contract.
According to media reports, AC Milan has reached an agreement to sign the talented Bayer Leverkusen player for a €5 million loan fee and a €24 million buy option clause (not mandatory).
Transfer guru Fabrizio Romano claims that Victor Boniface has just arrived in Milan to sign a contract with AC Milan and undergo medical checks as the club’s new player.
“Victor Boniface has just landed in Milano to undergo medicals and sign in as a new AC Milan player.
“A €5m loan fee and a €24m buy option clause not mandatory for the Nigerian striker to join from Bayer Leverkusen.” Romano wrote on his official X page (formerly Twitter).
Milan, who have been looking for a dependable offensive option to bolster their frontline for the upcoming season, are expected to benefit greatly from Boniface’s arrival.
Two seasons ago, Leverkusen won the Bundesliga thanks in large part to his physicality, finishing prowess, and work ethic. He scored important goals in both domestic and European games.
