Jennifer Echegini, a talented player for the Super Falcons of Nigeria and Juventus Ladies, has been named as the Women’s Serie A’s best U-23 player for 2024.
The Nigerian player, who studied Management studies at Florida State University, joined Juventus in January after leaving the American team, the Florida State Seminoles.
With 10 goals and one assist in 16 appearances for the Bianconeri in all competitions, Echegini had a significant effect in the second half of the season.

The 23-year-old, who was raised in London, England, but was born in the Netherlands, was instrumental in ensuring Juventus’ UEFA Women’s Champions League qualification.
Echegini, who will receive the award at the beginning of next season, is anticipated to be a member of the Super Falcons team that competes in the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris.
The player, who was a member of the Nigerian Super Falcons squad that reached the round of 16 in the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup, signed with Juventus on a multi-year contract through June 2026.
