Surprise as Gadebo Rhodes-Vivour of LP loses polling unit to APC’s Sanwo-Olu

The Labour Party gubernatorial candidate in Lagos state Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour has been defeated in his own backyard by the All Progressives Congress (APC) and incumbent governor  Babajide Sanwo-Olu.

At the polling unit of Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour, he could only get 18 votes, losing to Sanwo-Olu who had 29 votes.

The Peoples Democratic Party’s (PDP) candidate Olajide Adeniran also known as Jandor managed just two votes.

However, Jandor also won his polling unit in the ongoing 2023 guber election as the PDP scored 87 votes, APC came second with 66 while LP finished with 1 vote.
