Bayern Munich coach Thomas Tuchel has responded to rumours linking him with the managerial positions at English Premier League (EPL) sides Chelsea and Manchester United.

Tuchel, who reacted to the speculation in a chat with the German media, said that he has not had any negotiations of any sort with any club in Germany or outside the country.

The German professional football manager and former player who is the head coach of Bayern Munich said that he has no idea about his future, but he will think about things in peace.

“There’s been no discussion with other clubs.” The widely known coach, who is regarded as a tactical innovator in modern football, said during the interview with the media.

“My future? I have no idea. I’ll think about things in peace. Things have been clear since February. I’ll take my time.” Tuchel noted.

This comes days after Tuchel opened up about where he will be next season after deciding to leave his current club.

Back in February, Tuchel announced that he would leave Bayern at the end of the season. This came after the club lost three consecutive league games and fell eight points behind Bayer Leverkusen.

When asked about the prospect of returning to English football, Tuchel said: “I’d rather not answer, but it is no secret that I loved it at Chelsea, I loved it in England and I loved it in the Premier League for sure; it was a very, very special time and I remember it very well.”

Since becoming head coach of Bayern in March 2023, Tuchel has led the team through their first Bundesliga campaign without winning the championship since 2012.
