Gboyega Oyetola, governor of Osun state, has described Bola Ahmed Tinubu, presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), as the best among his equals.

Tinubu is in the race to become Nigeria’s president in 2023 alongside Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Peter Obi of the Labour Party, and Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), among others.

Addressing APC supporters in Osogbo during a solidarity march for Tinubu on Thursday, Oyetola said the former Lagos governor is the man for the job.

The governor assured Tinubu of a minimum of 1.2 million votes from Osun state.

“We have confidence in Tinubu’s capabilities. The least we should get should be 1.2 million votes,” Oyetola announced.

He continued: “As many of you who have participated in this rally, the advantage is that we all come out to support with our votes. Those who have not collected their PVCs should endeavour to do so. There is opportunity to collect PVCs now.
