A social media influencer named Dr. Toks has said President Bola Tinubu cannot be easily misguided into making critical decisions in governing Nigeria.
In a post on his verified X account formally known as Twitter, @fimiletoks also said the president is not ashamed to make corrections when necessary.
He also cited a conversation he had with an unidentified person about how the newly sworn-in ministers would be judged and evaluated mostly by the people and feedback.
“It is very hard to misguide PBAT and even when you do, he has his ears on the street and he is not ashamed to make corrections immediately when necessary.
“I told someone in Abuja that the ministers will be judged mostly by the people and feedback.
Dr Toks said this in reaction to the recent reshuffling of the board members of the Niger Delta Development Commission by President Tinubu.
Asu Okang, a member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), was chosen by President Tinubu to the commission’s board, prompting complaints in some quarters.
He was, therefore, replaced with Orok Duke, a member of the ruling All Progressive Congress Party (APC).
News.ng had reported how the president appointed some members of the opposition People’s Democratic Party (PDP).
Of the 17 named board members, this medium was able to immediately identify that the chairperson, Chiedu Ebie is a Delta chieftain of the PDP.
Mr. Ebie had served as the Delta state Commissioner for Basic and Secondary Education, under the Ifayin Okowa administration.
In April, following the conclusion of the presidential and governorship, Mr Ebie was suspended by the opposition PDP due to allegations of anti-party activity.
The PDP said Mr Ebie’s suspension was in accordance with Section 58(F) of the PDP Constitution.
