Lanky Nigerian-British-born defender Tosin Adarabioyo is upbeat about his chances after signing a four-year contract to join Chelsea from Fulham as a free agent.
The player who has been confirmed as Chelsea’s first signing of the summer transfer window said that he is excited about the new challenge as he wants to win.
Tosin also disclosed that, before joining Chelsea, he sought the counsel of Raheem Sterling and Cole Palmer, who both shared positive stories about the club.
“I’m here at Chelsea to win, I want to win”. The former Manchester City player said.
“Before confirming the move, I gave Sterling and Cole Palmer a call and they had nothing but positive things to say about the club and the project”.
“Chelsea is a huge club and this is a full-circle moment for me”.

“I was born three miles away from Stamford Bridge and made my professional debut there”.
“I’m very excited and looking forward to helping push the club in the direction we want to go”. Tosin noted.
The player’s comments come days after Fulham confirmed that Tosin has left the club as a free agent.
This was made known in a post shared on X (formerly known as Twitter) by transfer guru Fabrizio Romano, who informed that Chelsea will soon complete the deal to bring him to Stanford Bridge.
‘‘Fulham confirms Tosin Adarabioyo’s exit as free agent… and Chelsea will soon complete deal to bring him to the club.
”Medical tests, already complete,’’ Romano wrote on his official X handle recently.
