Transnational Corporation Reports Strong Growth with N309.6bn Equity Position

Transnational Corporation Plc (“Transcorp”) has demonstrated robust financial performance in its unaudited consolidated financial statements for the nine months ended September 30, 2025, showing significant improvements across key metrics.

The financial statements, approved by the Board of Directors on October 24, 2025, were signed by Director Chiugo Ndubisi, President/Group Chief Executive Officer Dr Owen Omogiafo, and Group Chief Financial Officer Festus Izevbizie.

The diversified conglomerate’s total equity surged to N309.6 billion, up 14% from N271.7 billion recorded in December 2024, reflecting strengthened shareholder value and operational efficiency.

Transcorp’s total assets climbed to N940.9 billion as of September 2025, compared to N751.6 billion at year-end 2024, representing a 25% increase. Substantial rises in both current and non-current assets drove the growth.

Current assets grew to N511.2 billion from N345.4 billion, with trade and other receivables rising to N477.0 billion from N320.6 billion. Cash and cash equivalents strengthened to N15.2 billion from N7.9 billion.

Non-current assets increased to N429.6 billion, up from N406.2 billion, with notable growth in investments in financial assets, which rose to N46.9 billion from N18.2 billion.

Total liabilities increased to N631.3 billion from N479.9 billion, reflecting the company’s expansion activities. Non-current liabilities nearly doubled to N158.9 billion from N102.8 billion, while current liabilities grew to N472.4 billion from N377.1 billion.

Trade and other payables rose significantly to N357.6 billion, while short-term borrowings stood at N31.7 billion.
