Israel Defense Forces have reportedly attacked and killed two Hezbollah fighters in the early hours of Saturday.
The airstrike came after a four-day war truce ended between Israel and Hamas, Due to the airstrike two persons suspected to be Iran-backed Hezbollah fighters were neutralized and seven others injured in Sayyida Zeinab, near Damascus.
Since the past decade, Israel has been known to be at war with Iran-backed terrorists, Hezbollah and Syrian army positions launching many airstrikes across their enemy sites.
Since the attack on Oct 7 by Hamas, Israel has increased its aggression on its surrounding enemies, Hamas-led government says it has continued its relations with Syria.
The Saturday attack was said to have been reported by a link of sources by the head British-based monitor who told AFP about Israeli attacks on Hezbollah sites near southern Damascus.
Syrian Defense Ministry in a statement said that in the early hours of Saturday Israeli army carrier targeted airstrikes in the Syrian Golden area near Damascus.
According to a journalist in Damascus, Israeli forces attacked targets near the Syrian capital with sounds of bombings heard.
A Syrian State Television also broadcasted reports about Israeli aggression near Damascus.
