Lookman who spoke to the media moments after the game played at the Gewiss Stadium said that his team deserved more from the encounter against Arsenal.
He also noted that his team were unfortunate not to score in the game after his teammate Mateo Retegui missed a penalty in the second half following a double save by Arsenal goalkeeper David Raya.
“We had a plan and we were unfortunate not to score. We will take the positives out of it and move,” the 26-year-old said after the game.
“It was kind of a chess match. Obviously, they are one of the top teams and we matched them tonight. We’ll take the draw. Onto the next.” Lookman added.

Atalanta coach Gasperini praised Lookman for his defensive work in the Champions League game against Arsenal.
According to him, the impeccable defensive work done by Lookman and his other teammates including; De Ketelaere, Retegui and others was admirable.
“Well yes, that is our spirit. That doesn’t mean we are not defending, as the defensive work done by Lookman, De Ketelaere and Retegui was admirable. If we have our strikers working so hard to help the defence, then we can put a few more forwards on the field and improve our chances of scoring,” Gasperini said after the game.
“It was not easy to break down the Arsenal defence and we need to improve our play out from the back, but I am satisfied. We learned something from this match and want to carry that forward. This is why we’ve managed to grow so much in recent years and been able to play at this level.”
