Roberto Calenda, the agent of Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen has downplayed recent reports that his client is set for a move to Saudi Arabia from Napoli.
Osimhen is set to move to the Saudi pro-league after an agreement between Napoli and Al Ahli for a package of over €65 million.
The report stated that the deal is almost done, pending small details but there has been no agreement with Osimhen so far as the Nigerian striker wants an important salary.
Calenda has now denied the reports in a statement on his X page where he noted that Osimhen has no interest in a move to the Middle East and they will reject this new approach while criticising Napoli’s handling of the situation.
