Nigerians are set to grace another celebrity wedding after singer Davido suggested that he will soon marry the mother of one of his children, Chioma Rowland.
The singer made the claim recently in the company of UK-based Nigerian pastor, Tobi Adegboyega.
In a video circulating on social media, Pastor Adegboyega during a small get-together referred to Chioma as “our real wife”.
Davido who was standing nearby, responded, saying: “Hundred per cent, going down, 2023.”
The statement by Davido has triggered huge reactions from excited Nigerians on social media who have begun sending congratulatory messages to the lovers ahead of D-day.
‘’I heard Davido And Chioma will be getting married in 2023… Congratulations to them but I hope Chioma can stand the heat because we don’t want another Annie in our face, Eniola with the handle @treatpworld stated.
Another well-wisher, Shanu Jamgbadi, with the handle, @Sjamgbadi, urged Nigerians for the success of the planned wedding.
“Let’s pray for both of them that their marriage will be successful. I felt for Chioma during the period they were not together. Ladies ought not to be victims at all of men’s relentless sexual escapades,” he stated.
