West Ham United have intensified their pursuit of Nigerian midfielder Tochukwu Nnadi, engaging in advanced talks while the player is on international duty with the Super Eagles at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco
The English Premier League side has been monitoring the SV Zulte Waregem talent for several months, impressed by his performances in the Belgian top flight. Reports indicate that West Ham officials met with Nnadi and his representatives in Morocco to gauge his interest before entering formal negotiations with his club.
“West Ham’s interest has been there for a while, but it became more serious after he was named in Nigeria’s final AFCON squad,” said Nnadi’s close associate Nwosu Chigozie, confirming the discussions.
The Hammers are reportedly preparing a five-year contract offer, viewing Nnadi as a key addition to strengthen their midfield ahead of a pivotal run of fixtures in the Premier League.
With Nnadi showcasing his talent on the continental stage, West Ham are moving quickly to secure a deal for the promising Super Eagles star, highlighting the growing trend of top European clubs scouting talent directly from international tournaments.
