Nigerians on social media have reacted hilariously to pictures of what appears to be an egg pie that was reportedly purchased in Ibadan.
The snack, which seems to be an imitation of meat pie, was said to have been purchased in the Oyo state capital by a man who was stuck in traffic.
A Twitter user who shared the photos in a collage captioned it: The meat pie my friend bought in Ibadan traffic.
In the photos shared on his handle, @Jayysen_, a boiled egg was pictured in a pie. Usually, a meat pie is a pie with a filling of meat and often other savoury ingredients. But in this case, instead of meat, a boiled egg was inserted into the pie.
The post gathered massive reactions at press time, with over 1700 re-tweets and 7000 likes.
