It has been discovered that Nigerian-American singer and actor Olurotimi Akinosho, better known as Rotimi and Tiwa Savage are blood related.
The pair recently linked up as Rotimi revealed the queen of Afrobeats is his cousin and he has been hiding the information.

In a video shared on his Instagram handle, Rotimi captioned the video that read:
“We’ve been holding this secret for so long !!! So happy to share the vibes with everyone!”
“Listen, I got a surprise mehn. Y’all never guess who my actual blood cousin is. You’ve got to paint this beautiful queen right now,” Rotimi said in the video.
Tiwa Savage also confirmed Rotimi’s statement as she responded by saying:
“This is Tiwa, aka African Bad gyal, aka Mama Jamjam, aka Rotimi’s real cousin.”
The video also hinted that Rotimi and Tiwa are currently working on a project and will soon be made public.
Meanwhile, Tiwa Savage recently escaped a kidnap attempt made on her by her domestic staff.
In a post on Instagram, the musician confirmed a security breach at her residence on Thursday, April 13.
The statement, which was signed by her management, disclosed that some suspects had been arrested following the incident.
The statement read: “Following recent reports online, we can confirm that on Thursday, 13th April 2023, there was a major security breach at the residence of musician Tiwa Savage.
“A number of suspects were caught and are currently being held under investigation at Alagbon Police Station, Ikoyi. Ms Savage and her family are safe and well.”
