World Cup 2026: Mbappé Scored a Brace as France Beat Senegal 3-1

France survived a nervy first half to beat Senegal 3-1 after 90 minutes in their Group I opener, as Kylian Mbappé scored a brace, News.ng reports.

Mbappé was the first to find the back of the net in the 60th minute before Bradley Barcola, who made his World Cup debut, extended France’s lead in the 82nd minute. Senegal reduced the deficit after Mbaye scored in the 90+5th minute to make it 2-1.

Mbappé responded a minute later to seal the victory for France.

Mbappé’s goals earned him his 57th goal and 58th goals for France.
