Peter Okoye of the P-Square group has said Seun Kuti would be an irrelevant person without the name of his father, Fela Anikulapo Kuti.
The musician made the statement via his Twitter handle on Wednesday, February 8, when faulting Seun for criticizing Peter Obi.
The verbal clash between the singers started after Seun referred to the Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi as an opportunist.
But Peter Okoye came to Obi’s defence triggering a back and forth which led to Seun accusing him and his twin brother of campaigning for president Buhari in 2015.
Following Seun’s accusation, Peter fired back, saying Seun is nobody without his father’s name.
”My late Father was a nobody, but today everyone knows the OKOYES. Dude, try removing “KUTI” from your name let me see if you are relevant.”
“Remain in that your Local SHRINE while people like us and others continue excelling Globally. you can’t shame the shameless.”
Peter stated that Seun has no music career and only brags about his family background.
