YouTube has launched a new creator-focused artificial intelligence (AI) tool. This new tool, powered by Google’s in-house AI chatbot, Gemini, allows platform video makers to brainstorm video ideas.
The Gemini AI program may help users come up with thumbnail concepts, and movie titles, and outline the video.
The California-based company made the announcement in a video on its Creator Insider channel, with the host saying, “We’re testing a new studio integration with Google’s AI tool Gemini.
“…When you’re draughting outlines look for the ‘brainstorm with Gemini’ button to get started.”
However, a YouTube spokeswoman informed TechCrunch that the functionality is now only available to a restricted group of creators as part of a limited experiment.
So, how does this new feature work? If you are a participant in the experiment, you can access the new functionality by typing a video idea into YouTube Studio’s search field. You will then be presented with two options. This includes:
Back in May, YouTube introduced another AI feature: an AI-powered content inspiration generator. The tool can help artists come up with video topic ideas that their target audience is interested in. The application then provides an outline of talking points to help with the creative process.
Newsng gathered that This content brainstorming tool will complement YouTube’s existing experimental AI tool, Ideas and Outlines, which provides a similar use case.
The in-house tool may generate outlines based on text prompts, display related ideas to improve the material, and provide similar content to the idea that people are watching.
This initiative demonstrates YouTube’s dedication to leveraging artificial intelligence and improving its platform. This innovation has the potential to alter the way its large creative community creates and shares content.

This new notes tool according to the company enables users to contribute context and notify users of misinformation in videos.
