Governor Alex Oti has declared that Abia state is the best place to invest in Nigeria.
The governor made the declaration while playing host to the Polish Ambassador to Nigeria, Mrs. Joana Tarnawska, who paid him an official visit.
The Ambassador was also accompanied by an Abia-born former Polish Government Parliamentarian, Hon. John Abraham Godson.
Writing about the visit on social media, Governor Otti stated:
”We had a fruitful discussion on strengthening relations between Poland and Abia State, especially in agriculture, mining, education and culture.
”I was delighted to learn that Poland is interested in partnering with us to develop our various sectors and create more opportunities for our people.
”I assured her that Abia state is the best place to invest in Nigeria, as we have a vibrant and creative population, a conducive business environment, and a visionary government.
”I also invited her to visit Aba, the industrial hub of the South East, where she can witness the ingenuity and innovation of our artisans and entrepreneurs.
”I believe that with more support from our foreign partners, we can produce world-class products that compete favourably in the international market.
”I thank Her Excellency for her visit, and I look forward to working with her to foster a mutually beneficial cooperation between Poland and Abia state.”
