Seasoned Dutch professional football manager and former player, Arne Slot, has signalled his readiness to replace outgoing Jurgen Klopp as the coach of Liverpool.
Slot, who expressed his readiness to become the next coach of Liverpool in a chat with ESPN, said that the English club are negotiating with his employers, Feyenoord, regarding the move.
He stated that his decision is clear, as he would like to become the next Liverpool manager and he is waiting to see the outcome of negotiations between Feyenoord and Liverpool.
Slot: “I’d like to become new Liverpool manager; my decisions is clear”.

“Feyenoord and Liverpool are in talks to negotiate, I’m waiting to see what will come out of it”.
“I am confident, waiting for the clubs to reach an agreement,” he told ESPN.
Slot continued, “I believe that Feyenoord will let me join Liverpool, as it would be a massive step for me.
“There are negotiations ongoing between clubs; I’m here waiting… I’m happy at Feyenoord but #LFC would be a fantastic opportunity for me”.
When asked if he had a hand in the selection of Slot as the new coach of Liverpool, Klopp said he was not involved, but he likes the way his (Slot’s) team plays.
Klopp on Arne Slot: “I’m not involved, club-wise. I would like a lot to know if Arne is the one who wants to take the job. I like his team’s style; all I hear about him as a guy is he is a good coach”. “I’d tell him this is the best job in the world. Best club in the world, best people.”.
