Atiku records landslide victory as he defeats Tinubu, Obi in own polling unit

The presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Atiku Abubakar delivered his polling unit, Ajiya 02, in Gwadabawa Ward, Yola North Local Government of Adamawa. 

The former vice-president of the federation recorded an uncontestable victory as he had 282 votes while his closest rival Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu of the All Progressives Alliance was second with 57 votes.

Peter Obi’s Labour Party was third in the coalition after managing just six votes while Musa Kwankwaso of The Nigerian Peoples Party (NPP) scored 1 vote.

Surprisingly, Atiku won the polling unit of the Datti Baba-Ahmed, running mate of Peter Obi as he scored 102 as against APC’s 98 and LP came third with 54 votes.
