Stanley Osifo, a former presidential aspirant under the All Progressives Congress (APC), has lauded President Bola Tinubu’s strategic vision and plans for national progress, citing the President’s recent 2024 New Year Message as a testament to proactive initiatives aimed at uplifting Nigeria and its citizens.

Osifo’s remarks, conveyed via a statement on Wednesday, highlighted Tinubu’s focused attention on critical areas pivotal to the nation’s advancement, which Osifo believes are already attracting foreign investor interest.

Praising Tinubu’s articulated development strategies, Osifo emphasized the President’s readiness to implement these plans, lauding the administration’s thorough planning processes to drive Nigeria’s growth.

Acknowledging Tinubu’s highlighted priorities, Osifo underscored the significance of critical areas addressed in the President’s message, including introducing a new national living wage, ensuring stable electricity, and bolstering the agricultural sector and its associated value chain.

Specifically commending Tinubu’s initiatives to enhance petroleum output and ease business operations through fiscal reforms, Osifo also spotlighted the president’s outlined focus areas for 2024, encompassing defence, security, job creation, economic growth, investments, human development, poverty reduction, and social security.

Osifo predicted that implementing the new national minimum living wage would empower workers, mitigate strike actions, and amplify productivity across sectors.

He anticipated economic stimulation through increased wages, fostering growth and development in various economic spheres.

Expressing optimism about the potential positive outcomes of Tinubu’s policies, Osifo aimed for an improved national status, domestically and internationally.

“It is my earnest desire to see more positive outcomes from the actions and policies of the president and his team in improving the status of Nigeria and Nigerians both at the local and international spheres.

“I want to use this medium to congratulate the president and Nigerians for peaceful celebrations of the New Year and want to wish everyone a most fulfilling and successful year ahead,” he added.
