Gombe directs civil servants to attend prayer session for rainfall

The Gombe state government has directed all civil servants in the state to participate in the prayer session scheduled for rainfall in the state.

In a letter signed by the office of the state head of civil service, Yakubu Mamman, the government also directed that all workers in the civil service should resume their various duties after the partners.

According to the letter dated September 12, and seen by the News.ng the government said both Christians and Muslims should partake in the exercise.

“His Excellency, Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya CON (Dan” majen Gombe), the Executive Governor of Gombe State has directed that all Civil Servants in the State, both Christians and Muslims attend the ongoing prayers for rainfall at their respective praying grounds and churches on Tuesday, 12th September 2023 from 8:00 am to 11:00 am.

“All Civil Servants are expected to resume work at their respective offices after the prayers”.
