The Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, has called for peace and urged the aggrieved stakeholders at the just concluded presidential election to go for a legal resolution rather than call for the cancellation of the polls.
Former President Olusegun Obasanjo called for the presidential elections to be cancelled in some parts of the country before the final results were announced.

The Arole Oduduwa made the appeal on Tuesday, February 28, 2023, and said the country does not need any form of distraction that could hamper peace in the nation.
As reported by Daily Trust, he said: “All over the world, elections are known to be disputed. And the tension must be addressed in a way in line with law of the land and in accordance with the best global practices.”
