The Peoples Democratic Party’s governorship candidate in Enugu state Peter Mbah has been declared the winner of the governorship election held in the state.
Mbah polled 174,289 votes flooring his closest rival, Chijioke Edeoga, the Labour Party’s flagbearer, who scored 157542 votes while the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Frank Nweke came third.
In Rivers state, Governor Nyesom wike appointed candidate Siminaliayi Fubara representing the PDP to win the 2023 gubernatorial election.

Fubara had 302,614 votes, Tonye Cole of the APC garnered 95,274 votes while Senator Magnus Abe of the SDP came third with 46,981 votes. Beatrice of the LP settled for fourth with 22,224 votes.
In Benue state, Rev Fr Hyacinth Alia was declared winner of the governorship election and the Catholic priest was closely followed by the PDP’s Titus Uba.
In Cross River state, there will be a new wave of governance as Senator Bassey Otu under the flagship of the APC was declared governor-elect in the state.
Otu polled 258, 619 votes to defeat Sen. Sandy Onor of the ruling party PDP who scored 179,636.
In Delta state, Sheriff Oborevwori of the PDP has been declared winner of the Delta state gubernatorial polls.
Oborevwori polled 360,234 votes in a comfortable margin as Sen Ovie Omo-Agege of the APC scored 240,229 to come second while Ken Pela polled 48,047 to emerge in third.
In Plateau state, Caleb Mutfwang of the PDP was declared the winner of the governorship election.
Mutfwang scored the majority vote to emerge victorious against his opponent Nentawe Yilwatda of the APC.
