A self-proclaimed relationship expert Blessing Okoro, popularly known as Blessing CEO, has been remanded in prison over alleged cyber-bullying.

On Friday, March 31, the police Force Criminal Investigation Department (FCID) arraigned the Instagram celebrity on a six-count charge, including alleged cyber-bullying, libel, and exhibition of uncensored movies.

Rotshang Dimka, the prosecution counsel, told the court on Friday that Blessing used her Instagram page to “bully, threaten and harass” Folashade Samuels, sister to the late Bimbo Ogbonna, wife to IVD.

Dimka also said Blessing deployed her Instagram handle “to injure the reputation of Folashade Samuels and the late Bimbo Ogbonna, by exposing them to hatred, contempt, and ridicule”.

When the charges were read to her, she pleaded not guilty.

In his ruling, Yelim Bogoro, the presiding judge, ordered her to be remanded in the custody of the Nigerian Correctional Services (NCoS) till May 30 for a hearing of her bail application.
