Saraki extends birthday wishes to Atiku, says former vice president is a leading statesman in Nigeria

Former Senate President Dr. Bukola Saraki has conveyed heartfelt birthday congratulations to the former Vice-President, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, as he marks his 77th birthday today. 

Acknowledging Atiku’s statesmanship and patriotism, Dr. Saraki highlighted the former Vice-President’s consistent demonstration of belief in Nigeria and its citizens. 

He emphasized Atiku Abubakar’s longstanding efforts in safeguarding and nurturing democracy in the country, illustrating his willingness to go to great lengths in defence of democratic values.

In his birthday message, Dr Saraki, along with his family, joined Nigerians nationwide in extending their wishes for a joyous celebration and conveyed prayers for Almighty Allah (SWT) to bestow upon Atiku continued blessings of good health, strength, and wisdom.

His words: 

”Our former Vice-President, His Excellency, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, has always demonstrated that he is a statesman and a patriot — a leader who believes in Nigeria and Nigerians.

”Over the years, he has shown just how far he is willing to go to defend and protect our democracy. As he celebrates his 77th birthday today, my family and I join all Nigerians to wish His Excellency, a very happy birthday.

”We pray that Almighty Allah (SWT) will continue to bless you with good health, strength and wisdom.”

Atiku, a prominent figure in Nigerian politics, has received numerous birthday greetings and well-wishes from various quarters, underscoring the significance of his role in the nation’s political landscape.
