"Stop fake news, Peter Obi and I are brothers" - Alex Otti declares

Following a trending report in which Alex Otti was quoted to have claimed that he would have won at the polls without Peter Obi, the Abia state governor-elect, has called on those carrying the news to stop it immediately.

According to him, some people are trying to twist his statement in effort to cause issues with the presidential candidate of the Labour Party.

Otti said those behind the news do not know the extent of their relationship and the virility of their bond.

The governor-elect described his relationship with Obi as unbreakable and evergreen.

Otti disclosed this in a statement made available to journalists by his special adviser, Media and Publicity, Ferdinand Ekeoma.

Going further, he said the LP presidential candidate will be laughing at those behind the story.

“Obi knows and understands my personality, and knows that I hold him very high, and thus would be laughing at those that twisted my statement in a manner it would look like a denigration of him,” the statement read in part.
