Supreme Court verdict is testament that truth prevails - APC UK hails judgement affirming Tinubu's victory

The United Kingdom chapter of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) has stated that President Bola Tinubu’s victory at the Supreme Court has established the truth.

The apex court had, earlier today, affirmed the election of the president as the rightful winner of the 2023 presidential election.

In a statement signed by its chairman, J K Adebola, the APC UK urged opponents of the president to congratulate him.

The party also stated that the president should now be allowed to concentrate on delivering the dividends of democracy to Nigerians.

The statement read:

”Congratulations to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the APC, APC UK and Nigerians for today’s victory at the Supreme Court.

”Today’s verdict dismissing the appeal of both Obi and Atiku is another testament that truth always prevails.

”With the Supreme Court verdict over, it is time for the political class and other elites to allow this administration to breathe.

”The country needs excellent and egalitarian governance, which President Tinubu has started providing with many bold steps already taken to advance Nigeria towards a progressive and prosperous nation.

”I hope the duo of Obi and Atiku will now behave in a statesmanlike manner by congratulating President Tinubu and join hands to ensure a prosperous Nigeria that we can proudly bequeath to the coming generations.

”As for us, the progressives, we shall continue our unalloyed support for PBAT and this administration to make Nigeria greater.”
