Bola Tinubu, the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), says he is smarter than his opponents in the race for Nigeria’s top job in 2023.

The keenly contested 2023 elections have Atiku Abubakar, Peter Obi and Rabiu Musa Kwankawso in the race.

But speaking at a dinner organized by the Business Community in Kano, Tinubu said he has the physical and mental capacity to lead Nigeria.

While there have been speculations that Tinubu suffers from Parkinson’s disease, an ailment that affects the central nervous system, the APC presidential candidate disagrees.

Describing his critics as ignorant, the former Lagos governor noted he does not need the strength of a heavyweight wrestler to lead Nigeria if elected president in 2023.

“Some ignorant people, I have been standing before you. I am not running for a 100-yard or 500-yard race. I am running for the presidency,” Tinubu declared.

“I am not competing in WWE wrestling. Even if I go out there and they say sick oo, I am standing before you, do I look a sick man?

“Vote me out of their reach. Vote me 100%. They will stop complaining because I am smarter than they are,” he added.
