The coach of the English Premier League (EPL) side Eric Ten Hag has provided injury updates on three Manchester United players ahead of this weekend’s clash with Arsenal.
The three Manchester United players in question are Mason Mount, Lisandro Martinez, and Luke Shaw, who have all been nursing varying degrees of injuries for weeks now.
While speaking to the press ahead of the EPL clash against Arsenal, Ten Hag said that Martínez is desperate to play against Arsenal, but the match may be too early.
He said, “Lisandro Martínez is desperate to play; he wanted to play against Arsenal, but it’s too early.

“I’d never gamble with a player’s fitness. It’s about them and their futures. That is the most important thing. I have to take responsibility for it.” Ten Hag added.
He noted that Mason Mount will not feature in the must-win game against Arsenal as he has suffered another setback. Ten Hag also ruled out Luke Shaw from the game.
Ten Hag said, “Mason Mount will be out against Arsenal, he’s been really unlucky with his new injury. He has suffered a new injury, and he won’t be available.”
“Luke Shaw has also suffered a setback in his recovery.” The coach added.
