Italian Serie A side Lazio is closing in on a deal to sign Hatayaspor FC of Turkey and Super Eagles midfielder Fisayo Dele-Bashiru from Hatayaspor in a deal worth €7 million.
This much was made known in a post shared on X (formerly Twitter) by transfer guru Fabrizio Romano who disclosed that Hatayaspor has given the green light for the deal to happen.
‘‘Lazio are closing in on deal to sign Fisayo Dele-Bashiru for €7m fee, now time for medical and final steps. Hatayspor gave the green light for Lazio Target to leave, as called by @resatcan_ozbdak’’.
With seven goals and six assists in 35 games, the former Manchester City player has been in decent form for the Turkish team.

Hatayspor is eager to sell the player but will demand €7-10 million, according to Turkish news source Sports Digitale.
The 23-year-old midfielder, previously linked to AC Milan and PSV Eindhoven, is now also a target for Lazio.
According to reports, Igor Tudor, Lazio’s coach, is eager to finalize the transaction before preseason starts, having chosen the Nigerian as the cornerstone of the team’s upcoming attack.
