Nigerian airline, Air Peace has announced its plans to initiate direct flights from Lagos to Abidjan in Ivory Coast and Cotonou in Benin Republic starting January 22, marking a significant step in its expansion strategy across Africa.
The unveiling of the new routes, bringing the total regional destinations to 10 within just under a decade since the commencement of flight operations, was confirmed via a press release by Stanley Olisa, the airline’s spokesperson.
Olisa emphasized that adding the routes reflects Air Peace’s unwavering commitment to connecting diverse parts of Africa and fostering economic growth.
As part of the expansion, Air Peace is also set to introduce additional connections, including Abidjan-Dakar, Cotonou-Dakar, and Abidjan-Cotonou routes.
The schedules for these new routes are now available on the airline’s official website and mobile app, enabling customers to make bookings and benefit from the special launch fares.
The move supplements Air Peace’s existing network, which includes 21 domestic routes, eight regional destinations, and six international connections.
Olisa added that the strategic expansion further solidifies the airline’s position as a critical player in the region’s aviation sector.
“It underscores our commitment to providing more travel options to passengers across Africa,” he stated.
