Enugu governor attends funeral of Late Supreme Court justice, Nweze, says the world won’t forget his contributions to Nigeria

Peter Mbah, Enugu state governor, was one of the dignitaries who attended yesterday’s funeral for the late Hon. Justice Chima Centus Nweze.

Nweze was a distinguished Justice of the Supreme Court, and he was from Enugu state.

He was laid to rest in his hometown at Obollo Afor in the Udenu local government area of Enugu state. 

The Deputy Governor, Barr Ifeanyi Ossai, was also at the event, alongside other dignitaries who came to honour a life well-lived and dedicated to serving humanity.

”Hon. Justice Nweze epitomised the ideal justice system that we all have been hoping for. 

”The world will not forget his profound legal expositions and contributions to the development and sustainability of Nigeria’s justice system in a hurry. 

”We will continue to cherish his legacies and the knowledge he freely shared with humanity. May the Almighty God grant him eternal rest. Amen,” Governor Mbah wrote.
