Ayodeji Morafa, a housemate in the BBNaija ‘Level Up’ season, is set to graduate with a Master’s Degree in Health Informatics in a few weeks.
Morafa made the disclosure on his Twitter page recently.
The Lagos-born pharmacist had flown into Nigeria to participate in the reality show in 2022 as a fake housemate.
He wrote on Twitter:
”After six years of getting my Bachelor in Pharmacy degree, next month I will be getting my Masters degree in Health Informatics with major in Data Analytics and Machine Learning.”
Morafa’s academic records are a far cry from most entertainment practitioners in Nigeria, who hardly return to school.
He bagged a degree in Pharmacy from the University of Lagos in 2016. He then bagged a second degree in 2022 from Logan University.
He worked at Lagos University Teaching Hospital before migrating overseas for better work opportunities.
Morafa took up residence in the United States of America and started his work career as a Pharmacy Technician at Capsule in January 2020.
He held this role for four months before he was promoted to Inventory Specialist. Three months later, he was announced for the second time at Capsule for the Data Entry & Processing Specialist position.
In January 2021, he secured a contract as an Epidemiologist at New York City Health and Hospitals Corporation, where he worked for seven months.
Before heading to BBNiaja, he was working as a Quality Assurance Specialist at AIM Immuno Tech, one of the leading health companies in the United States.
Known as the ‘Fragrance Boy’ due to his passion for perfumes, Morafa had to battle rumours of being homosexual recently.
He, however, shut down the rumours and stated that some people were misrepresenting him.
