The coach of the Ghanaian national team, Otto Addo, has named a strong 26-man squad for the forthcoming international friendly games against Nigeria and Uganda.
The makeup of the squad announced by Addo, who is making a return to the team as coach, includes four goalkeepers, nine defenders, seven midfielders, four wingers, and two strikers.
Leading the list of players invited for the two friendly games against Nigeria and Uganda are Jordan and Andre Ayew, Mohammed Kudus, Ibrahim Osman, and Elisha Owusu.
Others are Lawrence Ati-Zigi, Joseph Wollacott, Frederick Asare, David Akologo, Alidu Seidu, Tariq Lamptey, Gideon Mensah, Patrick Kpozo, Dennis Odoi, Daniel Amartey, Alexander Djiku, Nathaniel Adiei, and Mohammed Salisu.
Addo also invited; Mohammed Diamande, Samel Abdul Salis, Baba Iddrisu, Edmund Addo, Ernest Nuamah, Osman Bukari, Fatawu Issahakku, and Antoine Semenyo.
The Black Stars of Ghana will trade tackles with the Super Eagles at the Grande de Marrakech in Morocco on Friday, March 22, and four days later, at the same venue, the team will face the Cranes of Uganda in another friendly game.
