Controversial Nollywood actress, Tonto Dikeh, has narrated how she almost became a pastor while growing up.
She revealed this in a story she shared on her Instagram page on Tuesday.
The thespian said she grew up in the church where she served in different capacities as a cell leader and worker.
“I grew up in church… I was a cell leader. I was a department assistant,” she said.
The mother-of-one said her life is full of a 70 per cent village mentality.
According to the actress, who is also a politician, despite her exposure and the nature of her job, she still prioritizes decency and feels uneasy in revealing clothes.
” I’m so uncomfortable with revealing clothing,” she said in the story.
The actress said her life is still being influenced by the values she imbibed while growing up.
The actress is yet to remarry after parting ways with her ex, Prince Kpopogri, a politician and publisher from Delta State.
Her ex-husband, Olawale Churchill, with whom she has her son, is now married to his former personal assistant. They both have a baby together.
The actress has also listed vital lessons she accumulated in 38 years.
According to her, Nigerians should exercise prudence while discussing personal concerns with family and friends.
She added that disclosing too much information may have unfavourable effects.
Going further, the popular actress counselled against divulging one’s precise financial situation to anyone for any reason.
