Nollywood actress, Chacha Eke Faani, has revealed what some men of God told her about her mum.
Chacha, as she is widely known, shared this revelation on her Instagram page on Wednesday.
She said she loved and adored her mum as a child and would dote over her lovely parents.
However, she said as she grew older, the intense love she had for her mother turned sour as her emotions overwhelmed her, which made her have a deep-seated hatred for her mother.
According to the actress, she experienced nightmares and hallucinations supporting her misguided beliefs.
Regrettably, as a result of occasional mental instability, she had an encounter with some pastors who validated the misperception of her mother, which further intensified the hatred.
The men of God, she said, convinced her that her mother hindered her well-being, which made her harbour ill wishes towards her, including death.
Sharing a lovely video of herself and her mother, she expressed her gratitude for overcoming those negative thoughts and feelings during that time.
Meanwhile, Nigerians have criticised her for trusting Nigeria’s men of God. According to them, there is no difference between the clerics and politicians who have been deceiving the people for long.
They added that this has been going on for long in many families across the country and many Nigerians have been falling victim to the so-called men of God.
Others simply blamed her for not reading and bible.
