Olawale Ashimi who is better known as Brymo, says he only requested sex from his female collaborators for the sake of the experience to create intensity.
Brymo revealed on his Twitter account on Friday that the act would allow him to experience what it’s like to collaborate with a female singer with whom he was intimately attached.
“I am not sure how it feels about it anymore because it sounds different when reported to someone else. For the sake of clarity, I promise I was seeking the experience.
He, however, assured in his tweet that, “To date, I have still never slept with any female I collaborated with. I let it go.
According to him, he had to let go of his “desperation” to bed any of his female colleagues and it was never at any point his intention to demand sex for a collaboration.
“Of course, I had to let go of the desperation. I did not intend at any point in time to demand sex for collaboration. No. I want an experience that involves sex with my female collaborator,” he said.
Mr Ashimi, 34 said this in reaction to an earlier statement that he declined a request to feature popular female singer, Simi in a song after the singer refused to sleep with him.
He said: “There’s a part of me that wants to seek remorse for my condition for a requirement with talented Simi. I just wanted to have that experience of making music with a female act I was bedding. Of course, I had to let go of the desperation. I wanted a collaboration that involved sex with my female collaborator.”
The development has since caused a stir with mixed reactions on Twitter as many Nigerians have called out the singer.
