The Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate, Peter Obi, has said he will seek redress in court.
Peter Obi has stated that he will not back down until justice is done after coming third in the presidential election won by Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, as Atiku Abubakar was runner-up.
The flagbearer of the Labour Party said that the declaration of the All Progressives Congress (APC) as the president-elect was not on the basis of a free and fair election.

The former Anambra state governor said he would go to court to challenge Tinubu’s victory, announced by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
Obi’s running mate, Senator Datti Baba-Ahmed, had a press briefing on March 1, 2023, in Abuja, as he said:
“On behalf of our presidential candidate, Mr Peter Obi, I address you all and indeed all Nigerians on the current situation in the country following the announcement of the purported result of the presidential election held on Saturday, February 25th 2023.
“Please be assured of our determination to fight the injustice that has been perpetrated on Nigerians through all legal and peaceful means. It is our position that the purported result did not meet the minimum criteria of a transparent, free, and fair election.”
