Five female students from FUDMA (Federal University of Education, Science and Technology) Katsina State have been abducted by suspected terrorists, a reliable source in the area has confirmed.
The source said the students were taken at around 2:30 a.m. on Wednesday at their residence, which is located in the vicinity of Mariamoh (Ajiri) Memorial International School.
ASP Abubakar Aliyu, the state police’s public relations officer, confirmed the abduction and said that some suspects had been arrested.
He added that an investigation was underway to uncover the circumstances of the incident and rescue the students.
