Dr. (Mrs.) Dayo Ekong, the Labour Party Lagos state chairman, has been awarded the prestigious Doctor of Arts (D.Arts) in Humanitarian, Public Administration, and Corporate Governance, Honoris Causa, by the European-American University.

The Academic & Award Committee of the University ”bestowed the honour upon Dr. Dayo Ekong in recognition of her outstanding contributions and exceptional commitment to humanitarian work, public administration, and corporate governance.”

”Her unwavering dedication and tireless efforts have significantly impacted society, making her a deserving recipient of this esteemed accolade,” the University added.

The award ceremony, held amidst grandeur and dignitaries, acknowledged Dr. Ekong’s exceptional leadership and significant achievements in the realm of public service. 

”Her unwavering commitment to humanitarian causes and her exemplary contribution to corporate governance have set a benchmark for aspiring individuals in these domains,” the institution noted.

Expressing her gratitude and humility, Dr. Dayo Ekong conveyed her heartfelt appreciation for the recognition. 

“It is an honour to receive this esteemed title, and I am deeply humbled by this acknowledgement of my work in humanitarianism, public administration, and corporate governance,” she stated.
