Peter Obi, presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP) has appealed to his supporters to maintain peace and go on with their daily activities.
The LP flagbearer is set to do a battle in court to prove that he won the presidential election on February 25, 2023.
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) announced Aiswaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress (APC) as president-elect.

Obi knowing full well how the court process would take place, Obi has called on ‘Obidients’ across the country to respect the sanctity of the court and maintain peace.
Obi said on his Twitter handle: “As we go about seeking redress for our stolen mandate, I plead with OBIdients to respect the sanctity of the court premises and give our legal team the space and peaceful environment to carry out their duties.
“The court premises is not and should not be turned into a rally ground. I urge the Obidients to go about their businesses peacefully.”
