Massive turnout as Nigerians attend candlelight procession for Mohbad in Lagos

Nigerians from all walks of life gathered for a candlelight procession in Lagos State to honour the memory of the late Nigerian rapper and songwriter Ilerioluwa Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad.

The candlelight procession, which drew a massive turnout, unfolded as a heartfelt tribute to the young and talented artist whose music had captured the hearts of many. 

Friends, fans, fellow musicians, and admirers celebrated Mohbad’s life and artistic contributions.

Notable artists that attended the event include rapper Falz D Bad Guy and Davido.

The event featured a sea of flickering candles held by mourners who paid their respects through music, prayers, and poignant speeches. 

It provided a platform for people to express their grief and celebrate the late rapper’s legacy.

Mohbad’s music had resonated deeply with a broad audience, and his untimely passing had sent shockwaves through the Nigerian entertainment industry. 

The candlelight procession served as a testament to his lasting impact on the hearts of his fans and the music community.

Operatives of the Lagos state police command provided its men to ensure security at the procession ground.
