Famous British news presenter Bev Turner has criticized Meghan Markle following revelations that the Duchess will skip a trip to the UK to visit Nigeria.
Prince Harry is expected to return to London after news of the King’s cancer diagnosis, attending a special Invictus Games anniversary event.
However, Meghan will be absent, choosing instead to accompany her husband to Nigeria, a trip she describes as an opportunity to ‘reconnect with her ancestral heritage and discover her roots.’
The couple received an invitation from Nigeria’s chief of defence staff, prompting speculation about the purpose of the visit.
Ingrid Seward, Editor of Majesty Magazine, suggested it could be related to their new Netflix projects, hinting at the possibility of a documentary.
Turner echoed these sentiments, referring to Meghan as the “ultimate narcissist” and suggesting that the trip might include a Netflix documentary.
Seward added that Meghan’s interest in Nigeria stems from her DNA test, which revealed Nigerian ancestry.
While Prince Harry will attend the UK event solo, he and Meghan are expected to visit Nigeria together. Turner’s comment about Meghan’s alleged narcissism sparked agreement from the hosts, questioning if she might stay in Nigeria.
Seward also shared her thoughts on Prince Harry’s upcoming event and the likelihood of family reconciliation during his UK visit. She doubted a reunion between William and Harry but predicted King Charles would try to see his son.
Despite the controversy, Seward praised Prince Harry’s Invictus Games initiative, suggesting that he would want to take centre stage during the event.
The Duchess’s decision to prioritize Nigeria over the UK event has stirred debate, with some questioning her motivations and priorities.
