In a bid to bolster inter-agency cooperation and align efforts toward achieving national goals, the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) hosted the Director-General of the National Identity Management Commission (NIMC), Engr. Abisoye Coker-Odusote and her team at the NCC’s headquarters.
Aminu Maida, at the helm of the NCC, emphasised the pivotal role of collaborations and partnerships in fulfilling the mandates of both organisations.
During the meeting, discussions revolved around crucial areas of collaboration, with a primary focus on harmonising data.
Maida stressed the paramount importance of concerted efforts and inter-governmental synergy to facilitate the actualisation of national objectives.

Shedding more light on the meeting, he wrote on X:

”We deliberated on critical areas of collaboration, including the harmonisation of our data. To achieve Mr President’s vision for the country, I cannot but overemphasise the importance of working together and inter-government synergy.
”I assured Mrs Coker-Odusote of full and unfettered support from my team in achieving the goals of our Commissions.”
