Famous American rapper Nicki Minaj has joined Nigerians in mourning the death of Ifeanyi, the son of Nigerian musician Davido and Chioma Rowland.

In a post on Instagram, the rapper shared her deepest condolences to Davido and his partner over the tragedy.

“My deepest condolences to Chioma & Davido during this time,” her post read.

The post was accompanied by a photo of three-year-old Ifeanyi wearing a pink shirt and black trousers.

The message by Nicki triggered emotional responses from some Nigerians on Instagram who are still sad about the tragedy.

“This is just like an unbelievable and unexpected Scenario even one part of me still feels it’s not real,” a lady with the handle, Quen_estty, said.

Another woman with the handle mummy_tripple_t said she is hoping that the news about Ifeanyi’s death is mere rumour.

“Have been coming on IG to see a note that this is not true oluwa Sanu,” she stated.

Meanwhile, Davido’s cook and Ifeanyi’s nanny have been detained over the child’s death.
