Peter Obi, the presidential candidate for the Labour Party, has wished Charles Soludo, the governor of the Anambra state, a happy 63rd birthday.
Mr Obi made his remarks on Saturday via a post on his Twitter handle
Mr Obi, also a former governor of the state under the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) political party, said he wished the former central bank governor more fruitful and happy years.
“I wish to join other Nigerians to congratulate my dear elder brother and my Governor, Prof. @CCSoludo on turning 63 today,” Mr Obi says.
“May God grant him more fruitful and happy years and continue to grant him wisdom in his governance of Anambra State. God Almighty bless him always. -PO.”
However, the celebrant who took to twitter to celebrate his birthday in a 8km walk tagged: “healthy living with Nonye Soludo” said that despite being 63 years old, it still felt like he was 36.
He attributed this feeling to two things: the limitless grace of God, and his habit of living a healthy lifestyle.
Mr Soludo said, “Celebrating my 63rd birthday with an 8km walk for life, joined by my wife, Nonye Soludo, State Executives, members of my community, and friends.
“At 63, I feel like I’m 36, and this is as a result of two factors. First, is the boundless grace of God, and the other is a habit of healthy living that combines what my wife summarizes as “eating clean, but exercising dirty”
Others who have also celebrated the former CBN chief include his daughter and son.
Adora Soludo posted on Twitter, “Happy birthday, Dad @CCSoludo! Love you loads ♥️🥂
His son, Ozonna, a musician, also on Twitter said “Happiest birthday daddy. Wishing you many blessings and many more beautiful years to come 💜
