German professional football coach, executive, and former player who is currently the manager of Austria, Ralf Rangnic, has rejected the chance to become the next coach of Bayern Munich.
Rangnic, who was in advanced negotiations with Bayern Munich to take over the reins at the Allianz Arena, has confirmed that he will stay on as the manager of Australia.
The former Manchester United coach was expected to take over from Thomas Tuchel, who is leaving at the end of the season but has decided against becoming the new coach of the club.
Rangnick, who will lead Austria in the forthcoming European Championship in Germany this summer, has been strongly linked to the Bayern manager position.

“I am the Austrian team boss with all my heart,” Rangnick said in a statement, via ESPN, on Thursday.
“I really enjoy this task and am determined to successfully continue on our chosen path.
“I would like to expressly emphasize that this is not a rejection of FC Bayern but rather a decision for my team and our common goals. Our full concentration is on the European Championships. We will do everything we can to get as far as possible.”
As Xabi Alonso, the manager of Bayer Leverkusen, was also connected to the position, Rangnick became the second person to withdraw from consideration. Sources claim that Bayern will now resume talks to hire a new coach.
